With more than forty awards at prestigious piano competitions, a busy international concert schedule and a debut album with works by Chopin and Scriabin released in 2022, the young Russian-Armenian pianist Eva Gevorgyan has already made a rapid start to her career. She is now adding to her impressive portfolio with her recital at the Heidelberger Frühling, in which she can showcase her emotional playing, her flawless technique and her absolute dedication to her instrument. With Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" suite and Rachmaninov's brilliant "Etudes-Tableaux" op. 33, milestones of the Russian repertoire are on the program. Schumann's colorful "Carnaval" cycle and Franck's romantic interpretation of Prelude and Fugue are further highlights.

The concert will be recorded by SWR Kultur and broadcast in the midday concert on April 29, 2026 from 1.05 pm.
