Exquisite chamber music formations such as the Aris String Quartet and the Monet Wind Quintet form the backbone of Fabian Müller's Trinity Sinfonia. Here they now join forces with other soloists from the orchestra and the leader himself to perform real showpieces from their "actual" repertoire. Beethoven's string quartet alternates between dramatic expressivity and exuberant joy of playing. In Poulenc's Sextet, winds and piano present colorful atmospheric images from early 20th century Paris, while in the late romantic-impressionistic "Forest Scenes" by composer Mel Bonis, they conjure up idyllic nature. Schumann's famous piano quintet sets the powerful final chord.

The concert will be followed by an artist talk with Fabian Müller.
