A dreamlike sounding new creation with the tonal means of a baroque ensemble instrumentation! Originally composed for the harpsichord, this jewel of Western music is today also played on the piano or (rarely) by strings or winds. "But no one has ever dared to perform this work with the instruments of our instrumentation," write the musicians of the French ensemble NEVERMIND led by charismatic harpsichordist Jean Rondeau, "even though these are among the most typical instruments in Bach's chamber music." Their stylish and sensitive transcription made them feel "as if they were in Bach's workshop".
