In the organizer's words:

Concentrated power on four cellos - the Schlierbach district association invites you to this musical happening with a take-away buffet in the Schlierbachhalle, a gymnasium and proven district concert hall with a panoramic view over the Neckar.

The cello's wide range of sounds has already inspired many musicians to create new works and projects. Joe Pritchard, cellist at the festival campus, has also arranged pieces for cello ensemble, some of which he will now bring to Schlierbach with his fellow players.

Young and old are invited to experience the varied program and actively participate in deciding what is to be heard. With improvisations, his own arrangements and pieces from Byrd to Beatles, there is sure to be plenty on offer. In between, there will be a shared meal.
