Family concert | An orchestral narrative by Henrik Albrecht
What does the sound of the mountains sound like? How do you feel homesickness through music? And how do you transform a beloved story into sound and image? In Henrik Albrecht's moving orchestral tale "Heidi", Johanna Spyri's world-famous story of the little girl in the mountains comes to life anew - with exciting music, a captivating narrative and live images. Together with presenter Juri Tetzlaff, we immerse ourselves in Heidi's world: we feel the fresh mountain air, hear the echo over the mountain pasture and experience the freedom and light-heartedness of life in the mountains. But Heidi's path also leads to Frankfurt, to a strange, strict environment full of rules and homesickness, but also to a newfound friendship. While the orchestra narrates Heidi's adventures in full sound, illustrator Ernesto Lucas HO brings the story to life on stage. A rousing concert experience about friendship, courage and the happiness of being yourself.
