Heimweh
In the organizer's words:
Music builds bridges! In this program, the journey itself becomes part of the musical experience. Three works, three different approaches, and one common question: What does the longing for what we call “home” sound like?
Program:
B. Smetana – The Vltava
L. Berio – Folk Songs
A. Dvořák – Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”
Together, these works demonstrate just how multifaceted homesickness can sound: as a memory, as a longing, or as the journey home.
