The Symphonic Wind Orchestra Leipzig (SBOL) is an orchestra of the City of Music Leipzig and a symphonic ensemble of the Jugend- & Blasorchester Leipzig e. V.. Our orchestra, like our association, stands for high-quality rehearsal work and musical standards, coupled with our joy of making music, with which we inspire our audience both in the concert hall and in the open air.

As a lively and versatile orchestra, the SBOL unites committed amateur musicians from Leipzig and the region. The ensemble consciously strikes a balance between cultivated brass music tradition, classical works and sophisticated arrangements from film, musicals and pop. Modern compositions and contemporary literature expand our repertoire.
