Herbstmarkt
In the organizer's words:
Fall is the season of harvest festivals. There’s hardly any other time of year when the selection of local produce is so large and varied. To celebrate this, we’re holding our traditional fall market on October 3—German Unity Day—with over 100 vendors at Speicher XI in Bremen’s Überseestadt. This year, however, we’re moving the market up by one week, as the German Unity Day celebrations will be held in Bremen this time. The fall market will therefore take place, as a one-time exception, on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
In addition to typical agricultural products from fruit, vegetable, and plant cultivation, vendors and producers of organic and natural foods will also have a platform here to introduce themselves to a wide audience. Whether it’s cheese, sausage and ham specialties, baked goods, deli products, honey, jams, spices, teas, or wines—visitors to the fall market can revel in a wide variety of colors, aromas, and flavors and discover a concentrated array of fresh, high-quality regional products in the cozy atmosphere of a weekly market.
But products for everyday needs and seasonal crafts are also on offer here—for example, hosiery, warm clothing, garden decorations, ceramics and porcelain, lighting fixtures, leather accessories, woolen goods, as well as greeting cards, soaps, and much more.
Ample free parking is available at the adjacent wholesale market grounds. The event can be reached by public transportation via bus line 28 (stops “Hochschule für Künste” and “Überseetor”) or tram line 3 (stop “Waller Ring”), among other options.
