Herbstmarkt: die Gaben der Natur

Autumn is the time of harvest festivals. At hardly any other time of year is the range of local produce on offer so large and varied. To mark this occasion, we traditionally organize an autumn market on 3 October - the Day of German Unity - with over 100 market traders at Speicher XI in Bremen's Überseestadt district.

In addition to typical agricultural products from fruit, vegetable and plant cultivation, suppliers and producers of organic products and natural foods are also given a platform here and can present themselves to a wide audience. Whether cheese, sausage and ham specialties, baked goods, delicatessen products, honey, jams, spices, teas or wines - visitors to the autumn market can indulge in a wide variety of colors, smells and flavors and find the concentrated variety of freshness and quality from the region in a cozy weekly market atmosphere.

But there are also products for everyday needs and arts and crafts to suit the fall season - for example, hosiery, warm clothing, garden decorations, ceramics and porcelain, light objects, leather accessories, wool products as well as greeting cards, soaps and much more.

There is plenty of free parking available on the neighboring wholesale market grounds. The market can be reached by streetcar lines 3 and 5 via the "Waller Ring" stop and by bus lines 26 and 28 via the "Überseetor" stop.
