An event of the 26th Bonn Schumann Festival.

In the Bonn concert, Berio's soundscapes will be framed by the Missa Papae Marcelli by Palestrina (for the composer's 500th birthday) and a vocal improvisation on impressions and sounds from the forecourt of Bonn Cathedral.

The vocal and instrumental ensemble TonKunstAtelier Köln is a collective of young professional musicians united by the common goal of presenting music at the highest level. The ensemble was founded by Anna Goeke in September 2019. Its artistic work focuses on transdisciplinary concert formats and the combination of composed and improvised music. In this way, TonKunstAtelier Köln also inspires a young audience for classical music as a cultural asset. In the future, the ensemble aims to visit educational institutions in smaller formations. There, children and young people can talk to the musicians and make music and experiment together.
