"He was smaller than a milk carton," recalls Peter's sister Christine, co-director, of her mother's earliest stories. Her now 30-year-old brother is autistic. He was already unique at birth: born three months prematurely, he can neither see nor hear. He feels and explores every day in his own way. What does a horse's back smell like? What does wet sand on a Danish beach taste like? Christine helps him, guides him, loves him unwaveringly. One day she wants to move out while her mother is diagnosed with breast cancer. Who will take care of Peter now? This heart-rending portrait of a courageous family fighting for a dignified life for their son is absolutely unforgettable. Simon Hauck
