Three HfMDK bands on stage at the Brotfabrik: that's the HfMDK BandsNight!

We are a male quartet from Frankfurt and came together in May 2019 because of our shared love of a cappella music at the University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK).
The quartet is made up of Daniel Reuter, Sebastian Munsch, Julian Benz and David-Christian Sixt - a short introduction will follow later. Loosely translated from English, "4xdelay" means "four times too late" - and that's often exactly how we start our rehearsals together.
Our repertoire includes our own songs and arrangements in various styles, mainly jazz and pop, as well as classical male choir literature from past centuries.

Magdalena & Band
Hi, I'm Magdalena.
As a student at the HfMDK Frankfurt, I trained in classical singing and was also able to further my education in the field of pop. I have been writing my own songs for 5 years now, which I then realize and record with friends and fellow students who have experience in producing. With my first release "Be My Alice" I want to make these songs accessible to the public as well as at concerts, festivals and now also in the Brotfabrik.
It's difficult to pinpoint a particular style in my music. But I'm definitely in the pop genre with influences from indie pop, rock and rap. So there's something for everyone.

BALU
We are BALU, a student RnB band consisting of Nora (vocals), Simon (saxophone), Jakob (keys), Helena (bass) and Vico (drums). Our repertoire ranges from Eloise to Aaron Taylor to Jill Scott and is complemented by our own songs.
Forget everything around you for a moment while you let yourself be carried away by our sounds, groove & dance and enjoy life in your own way.

Pupils and students of the HfMDK pay €5 admission at the Box Office on presentation of their university ID.
