How does it work? The audience provides keywords, which are brought to life without a script but with a thousand ideas: spontaneous, quick-witted, and relentlessly live. This gives rise to soap operas, crime thrillers, heart-wrenching dramas, short film scenes, songs, stories, and poems, fairy tales, and even—on occasion—performance art. After performances for the Federal President at Bellevue Palace and guest appearances all over Europe, Africa, the Americas, and the Caribbean, the heroes of improv theater keep returning to the Schmidt Theater to showcase, as always, their skill, enthusiasm, and plenty of wit.
