Come with us on a walk through historic Berlin. Discover a piece of unknown Berlin, with all its backyards and hidden secrets.
The tour takes you through the "Spandauer Vorstadt" with the KunstHof, the Heckmann- and Sophienhöfe as well as the Hackesche Höfe, where you can recognize the change of time.
On the way between the Oranienburger Straße S-Bahn station and Hackescher Markt, we find hidden backyards, idyllic gems and listed buildings in the narrow alleyways of the old town that tell of a vibrant past. This tour aims to give you a little history, but also tell you about lesser-known events and encourage you to discover them interactively.
Entertaining tasks and exciting questions await you at the stops. Who knows, for example, what led Martin Luther King to want to preach in what was then East Berlin? Or where Alexander von Humboldt lived during his last years? You do, if you've done the tour!
The tour is a great way to get outside and discover new things with family, friends or on your own.
It's like being shown around Berlin-Mitte by a good friend.
