Hinterwäldchenfest

On Saturday, September 5, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., we’ll be celebrating the first “Hinterwäldchenfest” in the beautiful DESI garden! 🌳✨

With this vegan summer festival, we’re bringing together community, activism, culture, and utopia to bring a pretty wonderful vision to life: a society based on solidarity that includes all species.

Behind the scenes, we’re currently hard at work putting together the program. Get excited for:

🌳 Information booths and hands-on activities in the Hinterwäldchen—Lebenshof Ellswiese, GGDT Bavaria, PETA Street Team Nuremberg, ARIWA Nuremberg, B.O. Vegan at TH Nuremberg Ohm, Edible City Nuremberg, Duck Shelter e.V., Nuremberg Pigeon Protection x Wut & Trotz, Lila Miezen, Extinction Rebellion Nuremberg, Tierbefreiung Magazine, and others.

🎪 Juggling, poetry slam, acoustic sets, DJ sets —featuring Laurin Weth, Elsa, Neo C., Ronja Künstler, David Loscher, Fii, and others

🤹‍♀️ Kids’ program with can toss, face painting, and a painting/book corner

🌯 Delicious food —from Syrian to vegan, Projekt 31, KÜFA (Kitchen for All)

🎤 Talks & lecture performances —featuring Christian Rombeck, Vegan.Bullerbyn, Neo C., Racoon, and Daniel Valeske

To ensure the DIY festival can take place and that absolutely everyone can come, admission is donation-based (pay what you can).
