In the organizer's words:
On June 27 and 28, 2026, the Vegesack Matjestage will return in a new form. A lively historical maritime village will be created around the Utkiek with arts and crafts, music, hands-on activities, market stalls and actors from times gone by.
A special highlight is the traditional matjes landing on Saturday, followed by a tasting session. There is also plenty for families and children to discover on both days.
Look forward to a unique weekend full of history, maritime atmosphere and genuine Vegesack tradition.
