In the organizer's words:

Holidays offers freely accessible open-air concerts in public spaces and responds to young people's need for low-threshold cultural participation. The festival creates an inclusive, experimental meeting place that unites music, community and diversity.

The aim of the project is to strengthen Frankfurt as an international location for young, up-and-coming jazz and experimental musicians. A special focus is placed on FLINTA* artists and up-and-coming talent from the region. The program is complemented by a specially curated residency band that lives, rehearses and performs in Frankfurt over the summer, as well as changing national and international acts.

The festival takes place over 21 days on the terrace of the Kunstverein Familie Montez. The stage, food and drink stands, info point and art exhibitions create an open, visible overall experience. The volume will be regulated so that all legal requirements are met.
