The art collective Hollow embodies the shared hallucinations of Viktor Szeri (dance, choreography), Tamás Páll (media art, game design) and Gyula Muskovics (text, curation). Hollow develops immersive environments and cross-reality experiences in theater and exhibition contexts by combining dance, sound, gaming and digital technology, poetry and live-action role-playing. Their artistic works represent "world prototypes" with which they question dominant regimes and what is consensually accepted as reality. Their themes range from queer cruising, hyperspace, millennial cults, the radicalization of the gaming subculture and eco-anxiety as well as nature as a black box to walking as a psychoactive substance.

Baby begins as a reflection on the art collective founded by Viktor Szeri, Tamás Páll and Gyula Muskovics in Budapest in 2018. At the center of the piece is their virtual child, who invites the audience on a journey to Phoenix, an imaginary darkroom where Hollow was born. In other words, Baby takes us back to the very first moment, when everything was still formless and could become anything. It is the latest in a series of projects by the collective that understands the creation of art as the creation of worlds. The performance not only reveals the complex Hollow universe, but also suggests how an artistic work can enter into an exchange with its creators.
