For the first time, the Archivio Conz is showing over 200 Fluxus highlights at St. Matthew's Church, including works by Allan Kaprow, George Maciunas, Hermann Nitsch, Yoko Ono, Nam June Paik, Carolee Schneemann, Daniel Spoerri, Alison Knowles, Eugen Gomringer and many others.
The exhibition sheds light on Fluxus as a global phenomenon since the 1960s and emphasizes its diverse artistic forms of expression and influences. Francesco Conz played a decisive role in the development of Fluxus and in its extensive network of artists. Curated by Hubertus von Amelunxen and Monika Branicka, the exhibition explores parallels between art, religion, community and spirituality. A complementary program of readings, concerts and performances rounds off the exhibition.
