MOONLIGHT tells the touching story of young Chiron, who grows up in Miami far away from any glamor. The film follows crucial moments in Chiron's life from childhood to adulthood, in which he discovers himself, fights for his place in the world, finds the love of his life and loses it again.

MOONLIGHT is a unique piece of cinema about how the search for a place in the world, our environment, our own family and first love shape us.
