HOUSE OF BALAGAN – JUBILÄUM! 10 Jahre Sammlung Philara
In the organizer's words:
To mark its tenth anniversary in Düsseldorf-Flingern, the Philara Collection is pleased to open “HOUSE OF BALAGAN,” a comprehensive presentation of its collection. Featuring well over 100 works by more than 80 artists, the exhibition will be displayed throughout the spacious hall as well as in all of the Philara Collection’s galleries.
The exhibition presents a focused yet representative selection from Gil Bronner’s collection, which today comprises nearly 2,000 works. The presentation is complemented by selected works from the collection of Bronner’s parents, who shaped their son’s interest in art from an early age. Also featured are works from the collections of his children, Philip and Lara, after whom the exhibition venue is named.
