Ferran Cruixent: "Trinity", concerto for violin, cello, piano and orchestra (world premiere, commissioned by the Sitkovetsky Trio)
Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 8
The eighth symphony shows Dvořák from an optimistic, nature-loving side - this is how conductor Ivan Repušić describes the work. Prior to this, our resident ensemble, the Sitkovetsky Trio, will perform a new concerto for three soloists and orchestra. The Catalan composer Ferran Cruixent takes Beethoven's Triple Concerto as his starting point and uses digital technologies as well as democratic possibilities of interaction.
