Since the 1990s, Hugo Egon Balder has left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry as a presenter, entertainer, actor and producer, impressing audiences with his flair for comedy, his quick wit and his stage presence. In his first solo tour, he combines these experiences and skills by giving the audience a look behind the scenes of his life with plenty of irony and wit. He tells many anecdotes, especially from his time in television, but also from his turbulent private life and his five marriages.

Hugo Egon Balder describes the motivation for his solo program with an ironic wink: "For years of my life, dramaturges and editors harassed me, actors harassed me, authors and directors harassed me, producers lied to me. My audience deserves more: me. Me, Hugo Egon Balder without everything."

Hugo Egon Balder is known as the presenter or producer of shows such as "Alles Nichts Oder?!" (together with Hella von Sinnen), "Tutti Frutti", "Die Hit-Giganten", the guessing show "Genial daneben" and, last but not least, the legendary comedy show "RTL Samstag Nacht".

He began his career as a musician in the 1970s, working as a drummer, composer and lyricist before gaining his first experience in presenting at Radio Luxembourg and finally making his big breakthrough in television. Hugo Egon Balder, who trained for three years at Else Bongers' acting school in Berlin, was a member of the ensemble at Berlin's Schiller Theater and later the Düsseldorfer Kom(m)ödchen, can also be seen time and again in various theater and TV film productions.
