"Komm An Land" Tour 2025

IC FALKENBERG, one of the most successful & popular artists from East Germany, is coming to Potsdam for a band concert. He has been on stage since he was ten years old & progressed from singer, composer & lyricist of STERN MEISSEN to solo artist with a lasting stage presence in the 80s: 54 years & 28 albums speak for themselves. Always taking a stand, always open and always without excuses.

In his new album "Komm an Land", IC FALKENBERG looks back on his life, in which rebellion and self-assertion were always the driving forces. Unimpressed by the rules of the music business, he delivers multi-layered, atmospherically dense compositions with very clever lyrics. He remains abstract & associative like hardly any other German singer.

In his songs, IC FALKENBERG combines elegiac mood with literary aspirations as a modern singing poet & thus stylistically distances himself far from ordinary rock songs. He creates open-hearted intimacy with touching melancholy interwoven with humorous stories. He thus masters the fine line between sounding sensitive but never drifting into sentimentality.
