The MINSKBAR is back and will take place on four dates between May and August 2026.

DAS MINSK and Cafébar Hedwig will be open for longer and invite you to summer evenings with art, music, drinks and snacks. Exciting live acts and DJ sets will be presented, there will be the opportunity to visit the exhibition for an extended period and to talk to mediators - as well as to linger together on the MINSK terraces.

This year's MINSKBAR music program is curated by Mark Reeder, one of the central figures in Berlin's music history.

Jennifer Touch

Jennifer Touch is a multidisciplinary artist, live musician, producer and DJane - deeply rooted in post-wave-cold-pop-acid-romance.

Since the release of her first album in 2014, she has successfully combined gritty vintage 80s synthesizers with industrial soundscapes, performed with an instinctive post-punk growl that feels equally at home on and off the dancefloor. It's rare to find an artist today so dedicated to sound or so deeply immersed in the emotional reverberations of old synthesizers. She calls it post-wave-cold-pop-acid-romance and is sonically on a par with PJ Harvey, DAF and Depeche Mode.

As a child, she was told that all the melodies in the world had already been used, making a career as a musician pointless. She ignored this nonsense, and her strong sense of independence and desire for self-realization through music prevailed. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, her early musical tastes expanded beyond 80s pop to encompass the gritty and raw techno of Berlin's underground scene. Jennifer Touch invites you into a world of sound that sounds familiar but feels different. Scratching the surface and focusing on details that take up time and space is her inner need as an artist.

In addition to several EPs and singles on Riotvan, Eskimo, WarrioRecords, UVP and Live at Robert Johnson, she has released two studio albums on FatCat Records, collaborated with Curses and Paranoid London and has been featured in Metal Mag, MOJO, Uncut, Future Music and DJ Mag. In recent years Jennifer Touch has toured the UK, Europe, Mexico and Colombia.
