Anne, Branwell and Emily have one big thing in common: they feel different from the others and don't belong anywhere. Their only hope is Charlotte, who shows them how they can finally gain recognition and popularity through the group "The Shrouded Heights". An intense journey of adaptation and optimization lies ahead of them. But is what they learn there really happiness? And what does Emily Brontë have to do with it?

Ostracized because they are different, four people embark on a search for belonging and acceptance, questioning the idea of success and happiness in our society. How do those on the fringes of society who are marginalized or cut off feel and why do you actually have to fit in somewhere? What does it take to recognize, accept and even love one's own uniqueness? Because "my soul is not that of a coward, it does not tremble in the storm-tossed spheres of this world." The first work developed by the members of the Munich Heldentheater ensemble.
