6 scenes, 5 actors: inside, 4 themes: Propaganda, violence, fear, conformism. The play searches for answers: How did Putin's war become the war of the Russian people? What motivated Russian citizens to support the fight against Ukraine? Has Russia finally lost its democratic values? A combination of documentary and fiction sheds light on painful and highly topical issues.
Berlin artists with a Russian background perform a play that examines the personal and collective responsibility of citizens for the events in their country of origin. The play is based on documentary material (interviews, publications, social media, videos, etc.) from Russia as well as on dramaturgical texts.
Approx. 100 minutes (in German) followed by a panel discussion with invited experts.
