Contemporary witnesses who lived as 'contract workers' in the GDR, studied there or have family ties to one of the 'socialist brother countries' tell visitors about their experiences. During a guided tour together with a member of the HKW team, they talk about a specific work in the exhibition and provide insights into central aspects of their biographies.
