ihopeiwill / Schwindelfrei Festival

In the organizer's words:

How do we envision a future for ourselves and future generations? In ihopeiwill, dance, sound design and installation combine to create an artistic reflection on social developments in the light of the climate crisis and current political tensions.

The performance was inspired by interviews that the team conducted with a wide variety of people. They pose questions about the relationship between generations and the way we live together: What kind of world do we want for the next generation? And what can we do to fulfill these wishes?

The performance explores forms of solidarity and responsibility between the generations with a hopeful gaze. And thus imagines a shared future.

threeiscompany (Soňa Ferienčíková, Mária Júdová, Alexandra Timpau) is an interdisciplinary female art collective from Slovakia and Romania. They are particularly interested in blurring the boundaries between art forms. Jaro Viňarský is a Slovakian dancer, performer and choreographer. He currently lives in Prague.
