On September 18 and 19, illustratio 2026 will once again transform the Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf neighborhood in Kiel into a walk-through art space. International and regional artists will present light installations, 3D video mappings, audiovisual performances, and interactive media art at extraordinary locations in public spaces. For the first time, immersive and participatory formats will take center stage, inviting visitors to actively experience art. Between the water tower, Ivenspark, Paul-Gerhardt Church, and other venues, free-to-enter experiential spaces will be created where light, sound, technology, and performance merge into a unique festival experience.
