ndlich vacation: check into a nice hotel and unwind - preferably with a view of the water. But no: at the "Weißes Rössl" hotel on Lake Wolfgangsee, things go haywire. Goodbye relaxation! Because the hotel is completely overrun, work is constantly mixed with private life, and both the staff and the guests are wildly in love, which always ends in chaos due to confusion and secrecy. But after layoffs, resignations and tears, a few things do get sorted out - both professionally and privately. The next vacation is sure to come!

The cult operetta revue with music by Ralph Benatzky from 1930 still thrills audiences today with songs such as "Im weißen Rössl am Wolfgangsee" or "Es muss was Wunderbares sein" (to be loved by you!). In addition to songs by Benatzky, Hans Müller and Erik Charell added jazzy fashionable dances and other songs, such as Robert Stolz's "What can Sigismund do for being so beautiful?". Fortunately, the charm and humor of the play was not affected by the censorship under National Socialism: Above all, the 1960 film adaptation with Waltraut Haas and Peter Alexander gave the "Rössl" a new lease of life.
