Help shape the future!

You don't just want to talk about sustainability, you want to make a difference yourself?
Do you have ideas for a sustainable future - or want to develop some together?

Then join us at the Impact Makers Weekend in Düsseldorf.

At the Impact Makers Weekend, we bring together young people who want to actively shape the future. Together, we develop concrete ideas and projects for a more sustainable life in Düsseldorf - creatively, practically and with professional support.

How the weekend starts 💬🌍

Before we start working together, we will begin on Wednesday, May 6, with a kick-off evening at Cokon.

Under the motto "Visions for a sustainable future", we will take a mental journey into the future: What should our society look like? How do we want to live? And what contribution can we make ourselves?

With creative methods, inspiring input from local social impact founders and plenty of space for exchange, you will get to know the other participants, make initial contacts and find out which topics really move you. We'll lay the foundations for the weekend in a relaxed atmosphere with food and drinks.

And then it's time to get down to business 💡🌱

On May 8 & 9, we will meet at the VHS Düsseldorf for the actual Impact Makers Weekend.

This is where ideas become initial concepts.

In interactive workshops, you will work - alone or in a team - on solutions for social or ecological challenges. You will be given methods, receive feedback and develop an idea step by step that can really make a difference. The aim is not to develop the perfect idea, but to give you space to try it out.

You can:

• come with a concrete idea
• start with a rough idea
• or participate without an idea at all

At the end of the weekend, you will present your concepts - and the most promising idea will receive a €750 start-up budget to continue.

For everyone who:

• are interested in sustainability and social issues
• want to start their own impactful projects
• want to meet new people
• want to play an active role in shaping Düsseldorf

You don't need any previous knowledge - just curiosity, openness and a desire to try something out.
