On September 5, it’s that time again: The Impro Scene Hannover Evening 2026 brings the diversity of Hannover’s improvisational theater scene to the stage. Six improv groups will come together to create an evening full of spontaneous ideas, surprising twists, and unique stories. This time, the focus is on an improvised directing format in which the directors of the various ensembles each assign an improvised story, provide creative inspiration, and shape a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience from the audience’s suggestions. Each scene is created in the moment—without a script, without preparation, but with plenty of enthusiasm from the mixed ensembles.

The audience can look forward to a variety of characters, emotional stories, whimsical situations, and plenty of humor.
