Improtheater im Haus
In the organizer's words:
On this evening, "Könnt' schlimmer sein!" presents a varied mixture of short improv games, spontaneous scenes and longer stories that develop live on stage. Sometimes fast, pointed and funny, sometimes surprisingly calm or emotional, scenes emerge from the moment - inspired by shouts and ideas from the audience.
In addition to short formats that directly address individual situations or characters, a longer improv story is also created over the course of the evening, which develops from a few initial impulses. An initial scene becomes recurring motifs, variations and changes of perspective that repeatedly take up the original play, break it down and reassemble it - until a larger, surprising whole emerges.
In this way, light, quick games alternate with a more intensive long form that looks at familiar situations from new angles and constantly rethinks them. None of this is planned in advance, everything is created in the moment together on stage.
Nobody knows exactly what will happen - not even the players. This is precisely the appeal of this evening between humor, experimentation and the attempt to create something unique from spontaneous ideas.
Note: The improv show takes place in the Dôme of the cultural center, the entrance to which is on the side of the building in Berliner Straße.
