Shortly before the "Bachelor of Punk" award ceremony, the students of the Punk Academy cross the Rhine and heat up Ludwigshafen!

EVERYONE CAN DO IT - EVERYONE GETS GOING!

In November 2025, the city ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Berlin music theater group "glanz&krawall" founded the Punkakademie Mannheim.

In the face of turbo-capitalism, pressure to perform and right-wing extremism, punk, a counterculture that had been declared dead and sold out, now makes sense again. The Punk Academy has invited all FLINTA* and solidary boys to escape the daily grind and form bands to play together against the inhuman impositions of the present.

After two semesters, it's time to go all out again: the participants prepare the final concerts on their own! Rehearsals, wiring, drinking, sticking stickers and posters, social media, packing and inviting and then it's sound check! Open air on the square in front of the dasHaus cultural center, you'll get our anger, our courage and, above all, our attitude blasted around your ears! Celebrate with us for a better tomorrow!

The concert is open-air and will take place on our forecourt. Admission is free of charge.
