Novels, comics, computer games, television series and, of course, Spielberg's adventure film series: Indiana Jones has conquered the world in legendary fashion. With "Raiders of the Lost Ark" , the first Indiana Jones film by Hollywood legends Steven Spielberg and George Lucas was released in 1981. The title role was played by none other than Harrison Ford. The archaeologist is commissioned by the American secret service to search for the legendary Ark of the Covenant and bring it to safety. He travels around the world, repeatedly getting into dangerous situations, fighting bad guys and trying to protect the Ark of the Covenant from those who want to misuse it for evil purposes.

John Williams' soundtrack - with the famous "Raiders March" - contributed significantly to the sensational success. The captivating first adventure will be performed "live to projection" by the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, which is experienced in film music, in a unique combination of concert and film experience in the Isarphilharmonie - symphonic fireworks for the eyes and ears!
