Inklusionsprojekt »Kultur für ALLE« »Es fliegt ein Bär«

In the organizer's words:

The inclusive musical theater piece "Es fliegt ein Bär" (A bear flies) turns the world and common perceptions upside down. Since 2022, 40 participants aged between 12 and 65 have been developing this extraordinary stage play together with Kerstin Lenhart (Theaterhaus Jena), Christine Klemm (SBW Lebenshilfe Jena) and musicians Benjamin Mährlein and Tim Helbig. It is based on 16 large-format paintings created by a group of artists for Jena University Hospital in 2021. The story tells in an imaginative way of breaking out of confinement, of boredom and dullness and of exciting adventures in strange worlds. On stage, the audience encounters strange creatures and experiences music and dance. Three choreographies by Tanztheater e. V. will be performed under the direction of Sonia Castellanos together with musicians from the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra. Will a bear actually fly? Let us surprise you! /CK /JN
