The Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea was an important site of Greek culture and mythology in ancient times. The archaeological site of Akrotiri on Thera (Santorini) is particularly impressive. Delos was the birthplace of Apollo and an important oracle sanctuary. The finest marble came from Paros and Naxos. But not only cultural treasures, but also unique landscapes reveal the charm of the Cyclades. Our itinerary ends in Athens, where we explore the majestic Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum.
