They transcend their compact size with a raw, exuberant sound that one would expect from a much larger ensemble. Juggling shifting roles between rhythm and melody, they traverse a beguiling landscape of free jazz, funk, punk rock and New Orleans brass band. Together they open up their own pieces in all directions, driven by a mixture of improvisational drive and perfectly interlocking grooves.
