In this course, beginners with no previous knowledge can gain an initial insight into upholstery techniques or advanced students can tackle a larger project with the help of a professional.

You will receive individual advice for your chair or armchair and learn all the necessary techniques.

Please bring your own furniture and the upholstery fabric and trimmings of your choice. Unfortunately there is not enough space for sofas.

In order to discuss any necessary upholstery demolition work and wood repairs, please present your piece of furniture to the course instructor Antje Oehmichen at least 2 weeks before the course during the specialist consultation times in the HEi (Thursdays 16:30-20.30).
