Interkulturelles Konzert - Livemusik aus Südamerika, Japan, der Ukraine und Deutschland

In the organizer's words:

A musical journey around the world: experience the rousing rhythms and melodies of South America and the Andes, the haunting voice of Japan with singer Nilo, the western sounds of Louisiana Moon and the brilliant violin playing of Alexander Rudyk.

The crowning finale is a joint performance by all the artists, in which voices and melodies come together to create an unforgettable moment.

The performers:

La Banda Andinia (South America)

La Banda Andinia consists of musicians from the legendary music groups of the Andes, Machu Picchu, Pachakuti and Takillakta, who have played concerts throughout Europe and South America. The musicians from Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia bring the fascinating sound of the Andes to the stage. They play their songs on traditional instruments such as the charango, pan flute and quena and perform in their traditional costumes.

Nilo (Japan)

Nilo's career began as a bossa nova singer and guitarist. Today, the artist also sings Japanese songs on her tours through Japan and Europe. Nilo's musical style is versatile and combines the warm sounds of bossa nova with the catchy melodies of Japanese pop music. Her musical passion paired with her beautiful voice and impressive guitar playing conjures up a very special atmosphere on stage.

Alexander Rudyk (Ukraine)

Violinist Alexander Rudyk was a member of the "National Presidential Orchestra" of Ukraine for 15 years and has now found his new home in Munich. His violin playing not only demonstrates a very high artistic level but also enchants with its soulful melodies. Alexander will perform as a soloist and play together with the other artists.

Louisiana Moon (Germany)

As a trio, Louisiana Moon play music from different parts of the world on double bass, accordion, guitar, ukulele, banjo and harmonica. Again and again, this results in a colorful little journey through different musical cultures. American folk, songs with Cajun influences from French immigrants, and the occasional song from Brazil, France, Ireland, Spain or Italy round off this little voyage of discovery. Louisiana Moon have already released 3 CDs and are winners of the "German Rock Prize" of the "German Rock Musicians' Association".

With the kind support of the Cultural Department of the City of Munich.
