International Parking Day in Flingern

Dear neighbor,
It's that time again: Friday, 20.09.2024 is International Parking Day, the worldwide day of action for a fairer distribution of urban space.
This year, the Green Party from Flingern & Düsseltal will once again be taking part in the campaign and bringing seven parking spaces at Ackerstraße 158-160 (corner of Hermannstraße) to new - and real - life.

The spaces will be generously landscaped on a temporary basis and transformed into an urban living room with a pavilion, furniture or yoga mats.

From 14:00-20:00, all residents and interested parties are cordially invited: For coffee, cake and waffles, a game of ping-pong on perhaps the smallest table tennis table in the city, an exchange about transport policy - or simply a chat in the open air.
