Internationaler Museumstag 2024

The Upper Silesian Museum is kicking off International Museum Day with a discovery tour under the motto Handpicked. This will be followed by a creative writing workshop with Mariusz Hoffmann. Afterwards, his debut novel Polnischer Abgang (published by Piper Verlag) will be presented in a moderated reading and discussed with the audience.

11 a.m. - Discovery tour with Dr. Marius Hirschfeld

12.00-14.30 - Writing workshop with Mariusz Hoffmann (for people aged 16 and over). Participation in the writing workshop is only possible after prior registration by 12.5. at the latest at vermittlung@oslm.de. The number of participants is limited.

4 p.m. - Litterae Silesiae: Mariusz Hoffmann reads from Polish Departure

Admission to the museum is free throughout the day.
