In the organizer's words:

A day full of magic, artistry and comedy in Offenbach's city center

Colorful soap bubbles rise into the clouds, imaginative walking acts surprise young and old during a shopping spree and artists and jugglers amaze with spectacular performances - at the International Street Theater Festival on July 6, there is once again a lot to discover in Offenbach's city center from 12:00 to 19:30.

The Funkey Monkeys offer a rousing hip-hop and artistry show with cool urban dance, poetic moments and slapstick in the Stadthof at 1:30 pm. The interdisciplinary and intercultural performance company from Berlin embarks on a joint mission in the show "Groove" - with very different ideas of where to go. Piece by piece, a gripping performance emerges from a seemingly impossible puzzle, inviting the audience to join in the celebration. In a street dance workshop for young and old, dance enthusiasts can then try their hand at groovy choreographies at 6 pm.

Juan Gomez from Argentina will whisk you away to "Wonderland" at 2:30 pm and 5 pm in the Stadthof. His imaginative show, in which a stranded man discovers the world and faces surprising challenges with the help of the audience, combines pop art, magical realism, slapstick and poetry.

"Am Lebe bleibe", "Bös" or "Kerzsche innem Wind" - if the Bee Gees, Michael Jackson or Elton John had sung in Hessian, music history would probably have taken a different course. Fortunately, Tilman Birr and Elis C. Bihn alias "Welthits auf Hessisch". They have faithfully translated world-famous hits from the last 130 years and perfectly capture the Hessian attitude to life with a wink on the small stage at the Stadthof at 12 noon and 4:30 pm.

The "Man in Bubble" Mariano Guz is responsible for the beautiful bubbles that enchant the city, combining elegance and comedy with the poetry of soap bubbles in his magical show. The amusing gentleman, who holds two Guinness World Records, will surprise the audience at 1 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Aliceplatz with hilarious gags and incredible skills.

The streets of Offenbach are not only made unsafe by The Funkey Monkey, Cosmos and the Dragons of the Sea are also on the road. Cosmos from Chile captivates the audience as a mysterious creature with his unearthly presence, mesmerizing juggling and graceful dancing. The flying fish "InTi" from the Dragons of the Sea perceives all humans as sea creatures. He is joined by a diver who is investigating the seabed with old research objects. What will happen in this encounter?

In addition to numerous other performances by fascinating artists, workshops and theater performances are offered especially for children. They include Tim Dutzki with a juggling workshop, the Jugendkunstschulmobil with craft activities and the Theateratelier Bleichstraße 14 H, which will unleash the penguins.

Admission to the International Street Theater Festival is free and access is barrier-free. The program booklet is available at the Infopoint in SCAPE ° (former weather and climate workshop) at Frankfurter Straße 39.
