INTERSPORT Urban Trail Run

Night Edition on September 12, 2025 in the Olympic Park Munich

On September 12, 2025, the INTERSPORT Urban Trail Run will celebrate its big premiere - and in a very special atmosphere: at night in Munich's historic Olympic Park.

You can expect a unique running experience that combines sport, city and nature in a completely new way. Whether you are an ambitious trail runner, hobby runner, absolute beginner or simply curious - everyone is welcome here! You can choose between a kids' run, 5 km or 10 km - whatever suits your pace and your desire for a challenge.

The Expo Area and the starting documents will open at 2 pm. In the Expo Area you can test a wide range of running shoes at our Test & Try campaign - Adidas, Nike, Asics, Salomon, Altra, Hoka, New Balance and Lowa will be there.

The route leads from Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz past the indoor swimming pool to the Olympiaberg, which is climbed several times via various ascents and descents - including panoramic views over the city and park. The route then runs along the Olympic Lake before climbing a few more steps shortly before the finish. 5 km runners reach the finish line at Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz after one lap, while 10 km runners complete the course twice.

The first to take to the course are the youngest: the Kids Run starts at 6 pm. This is followed by the 5 km run at 7 pm and the 10 km run at 8 pm - with a headlamp, urban flair and a unique atmosphere under the Munich night sky. The three fastest runners in each distance can also look forward to great prizes!
