Irgendwas mit Wasser und Solidarität | szene machen! Festival der Dortmunder Tanz- und Theaterszene
In the organizer's words:
Choral speaking is solidarity in sound. The individual voice is only strong, fragile, touching or irritating in harmony with the others. But this harmony is not "solid", but liquid, fluid. It can be a wall, like in a stadium - and yet disintegrate as quickly as a wave. The voices disperse and come together again. In a speech choir, we belong to each other, hear each other and each other in a light, flowing connection.
In this workshop, we want to create a spoken word choir together from our voices and the flowing sound of the lapsteel guitar. Let's dissolve the boundaries. Anyone can join in, no prerequisites.
All events of the szene machen! Festival 2025 are free of charge. Due to limited seating capacity, please make a reservation by purchasing tickets at rausgegangen!
