Irish Spring – Festival of Irish Folk Music

The Irish Spring Festival 2024 once again offers the finest Irish folk music and shows how innovative the scene still is. The performing bands and artists are rooted in the traditional music of Ireland, but know how to incorporate new musical elements.

Inni-K is looking for new perspectives and sound concepts, which she explains as follows: "I
try to be a caring, attentive daughter of our rich song and music tradition and hope to be an innovative, curious and adventurous daughter too!" Look forward to a very special solo performance by this exceptional artist!

The Moynihans are a sibling trio from Cork City who have been in the top league of Irish music for many years. Deirdre Moynihan, fiddle and vocals, Diarmaid Moynihan, uilleann pipes and whistles, and Donncha Moynihan, guitar, have been part of the Irish Spring Festival before, at the very first Irish Spring Festival in 2001, back then as part of the band Calico. They will return in Spring 2024 to present their wonderful music. "Folkworld" describes their latest album as "a reason to celebrate .... the return of a powerful trio of Irish musicians" and describes the music as "extraordinary and full of energy".

3'oh featuring Anne Brennan are a four-piece band whose songs leave nothing to be desired for fans of Irish music. Accordion virtuoso David Munnelly, guitarist Shane McGowan, fiddler Shane Meehan and singer Anne Brennan know exactly how to thrill an audience with Irish sounds and they will prove it once again at the Irish Spring Festival.

Aneta Dortovahas studied Irish dance and will provide some very special moments with her dance interludes.

And at the end of the concert evening, of course, all the performers will come together on stage for the grand finale to create a real atmosphere once again.
