Between northern lights and lava

March 2021, lockdown in Germany, traveling is almost impossible. Nevertheless, Cologne-based siblings Maximilian and Sebastian Lehrke set off for Iceland and put up with the strict entry requirements. In addition to the goal of capturing breathtaking landscapes without the usual tourism, they also had high hopes of experiencing and marveling at the Northern Lights. But what happened the day after the arduous 5-day quarantine was something they could never have dreamed of: A volcanic eruption in the Krysuvik volcano system!

Notes on event tickets:

• Unless otherwise stated, the lectures will take place in the club hut on the 1st floor. There is only room for a limited number of guests, which is why we strongly recommend using the advance booking service.
