Information about the tour:
Every "Iwwa die Brick" date can also be booked with the guided tour "Mannheim's Daughters" .
To do this, click on "Discounts & booking options" on the ticket page and select "Guided tour & play".
Meeting point is at Mannheim Baroque Palace at 14:30 (for the 17:00 performances) & 17:30 (for the 20:00 performances).
The end point is the Benz monument at the SCHATZKISTL, the tour lasts approx. 2 hours.

From the Baroque palace to the Benz monument: the themed tour tells the story of Mannheim's famous and almost forgotten heroines - from Bertha Benz to Empress Karolina Augusta and the unmistakable Joy Fleming. Since 2018, the lovingly staged play "Iwwa die Brick" has been delighting audiences and taking them on a touching journey through the eventful life of Mannheim's exceptional artist.

Heidi Kattermann alias "Druni" immediately brings back memories with her astonishing resemblance to Joy Fleming, while Susan Horn's legendary "Neckarbrückenblues" makes the audience believe that the soul icon herself is on stage. Music producer and pianist Claude Schmidt contributes personal anecdotes from his years with Joy, complemented by actor Henry Dahlke, who rounds off the ensemble with wit and stage presence.

Humorously written by Nici Neiss and directed by Joerg Mohr, the play combines fiction with true stories - a warm-hearted tribute to Mannheim's greatest voice.
