The termJAM stands colloquially for jam session. And this in turn is described by Wikipedia as "an informal interplay of musicians who do not usually play or sing together in a band."
In this trio, however, JAM! stands for Volker Jaekel, Gert Anklam and Ulrich Moritz! They have been playing together in various line-ups for over 20 years. Their compositions and improvisations between tango, classical, jazz and world music are full of surprises, lively and tender, humorous and virtuoso, unique and touching. Three soloists who enjoy their interplay and celebrate their friendship - it will be a wonderful evening with good wine, impressive art and rousing music at the Zimmerling winery in Pillnitz.
